154 BEHOLDING LIBERTY!
Another scene of the Frieze inspired by the naval struggle, the fourth in turn, which demonstrates the importance of the outcome of the Revolution.
A dramatic scene depicting the Ottomans who struggle to be saved at sea, while their ships are sinking. The representation has no particular reference to a true incident, but depicts in a general way the Greek success at sea, with the sinking ships dominating the scene.
