Statute was voted, which was personally prepared by Alexandros Mavrokordatos.
This proclamation, addressed to the captains, nota- bles and the «rest of the compatriots» of Thessaly closes with the words «Fight for faith and country» by Alexander Ypsilantis and the phrase «we wish you Greek valour and heroic decision».

THE LEGAL ORDER of Eastern Continental Greece or Organization of the Areopagus, the Senate of Eastern Greece were drafted by Theodoros Negris and voted on 15 November 1821 at Salona (modern Am- fissa) of Phokis by a seventy-member assembly, that represented the whole of eastern continental Greece, from Attica to Macedonia. It is a regional regime of pioneering and liberal character, the regulations of
which reflect the personality of the writer of the text, who was member of a prominent Phanariot family, im- mersed in the ideas of the French Enlightenment and deeply influenced by the work of Rhigas Velestinlis.
In the present report of the Areopagus to the Cen- tral Administration reference is made to the lack of food, ammunition and weapons that the regions un- der its jurisdiction face.
