ON 12 MAY 1821 in the region of Samos, a pan-Samian assembly ratified a regime proposition by the leader of the local uprising, Lykourgos Logo- theris (Georgios Paplomatas), under the title Presen- tation of the local System of Samos.
In the present letter, the Samians state that they send to the central Administration a copy of the lo- cal regime, which was compiled «for the orderliness and rule of law on the island».
